Hygiene & Bathing Safety Assistance

Caregivers are trained to provide assistance to an elderly person as it is important to take pride in the up keeping of appearance and the peace of mind that comes with it. Caregivers can assist you or your elderly parent with every aspect of the process, from running a bath, assistance with movement to the tub, staying close in case of an emergency, helping with a partial bath or providing a full bed bath. Our caregivers can assist with dressing in or out of bed.

Pre- And Post-Operative Services

Our customizable surgery services range from driving to the surgery, treatment or procedure, taking notes to ensure conversations with physicians are recalled accurately, transportation, prescriptions pick-up, meal preparation, companionship and support, and personal care services like assistance with bathing or dressing.

Support With Mobility

Caregivers assist senior clientele with mobility matters to help them maintain an active lifestyle. There are numerous benefits to seniors from being mobile, including physical and mental benefits that involve increase in energy and mental alertness, a resilient heart, lower blood pressure and improved sleep and mood.

Toileting And Incontinence Care

We compassionately and sensitively care for elderly clients, helping them maintain their dignity and self-esteem associated with the loss of independence related to incontinence and the need for toileting assistance.

Transferring, Positioning And Re-Positioning

Caregivers are skilled in moving and placing senior clients in correct posture and the right positioning. This is to support a client’s overall health and safety and maintain appropriate functioning of the body. Proper technique in transferring, positioning (or re-positioning in cases like bed sores) remove pressure ulcers on the skin, minimize weakening and/or stiffening of muscles, and encourage proper breathing and digestion.

Diet And Intake Monitoring

Caregivers are aware that at times elderly clientele may need help feeding themselves. This loss of independence may be hard to accept and even more difficult is to allow caregivers the go-ahead to take over feeding responsibilities. Rest assured that our caregivers empower clients to eat a nutritious diet that promotes healthy living and steady and consistent energy needed for disease prevention, healing and active living.
